Lisa Ballo (Ballet)
Lisa Alfieri Ballo trained at The School of Pennsylvania Ballet under Lupe Serrano; the San Fransisco School of Ballet under Richard Cammack and the School of Cleveland Ballet under Daniel Job. She then became a member of the Cleveland San Jose Ballet Directed by Dennis Nahat where she rose to principal dancer in her ten-year stay. Notable roles there include Odette/Odile in Swan Lake, Swanhilda from Coppelia, Lead girl in Balanchine's Square Dance, Who Cares and Apollo. Ms. Ballo also danced with the Fort Worth Dallas Ballet under Paul Majia, where she performed in many Balanchine ballets.
She has performed with the Sandra Organ Dance Company, the Dominic Walsh Dance Theater, and has been a featured guest artist nationally and internationally. Lisa has taught ballet for the School of Cleveland Ballet, Margo Marshall School of Ballet, Houston Repertoire Ballet under both Gilbert Rome and Victoria Vittum, and The Houston Ballet.
Before moving to Memphis Mrs. Ballo was taught and choreographed at the High School of Performing and Visual Arts in Houston Texas.
