Carol Guidry (Ballet, Franklin Method & Jazz)
Ms. Guidry received her Royal Academy of Dance training and Advanced 2 Certificate at the Audrey Share School in Long Beach, CA. She was a soloist with the Minnesota Dance Theatre, appearing in works by George Balanchine, Sir Fredrick Ashton, Glen Tetley, Eugene Loring and Jose Limon. She danced, taught and choreographed in Germany for eight years with the Heidelberg City Ballet and the Gelsenkirchner Musiktheater im Revier.
After returning to Los Angeles, Ms. Guidry choreographed three productions for the Mark Taper Forum and performed regularly with the Los Angeles Chamber Ballet. She joined the teaching staff of the Santa Clarita Ballet Academy in 1994 and co-founded the Santa Clarita Ballet Company in 1995.
