New Ballet students benefit from Franklin Method curriculum over the summer

Students enrolled in New Ballet’s summer session enriched their dance education with classes in the Franklin Method for the first time. New Ballet was pleased to host Carol Guidry, Artistic Director and Co-Founder of the Santa Clarita Ballet and a Level 3 Certified Franklin Method instructor, as a guest teaching artist for the summer.

Young men from Orange Mound thrived this summer in New Ballet’s summer program. After attending a Redbirds RBI Baseball Camp, the boys, students at Dunbar Elementary, spent two weeks at New Ballet. Most of the boys attended classes at New Ballet throughout the past school year.
