Community Engagement
New Ballet collaborates with civic organizations and corporations throughout the city and surrounding area providing performances and hands-on dance instruction to children and young adults.

Recent community partnerships and appearances include: Opera Memphis, Memphis in May, the Brooks Museum of Art, BRIDGES USA, The Dixon Gallery and Gardens. The Memphis Zoo, various street festivals and the AutoZone ArtsMemphis Employee Day as well as AutoZone’s CEO Team Holiday Event.

New Ballet's Citydance culminates in a student inspired creation that addresses issues that youth face on a daily basis. New Ballet has performed this work, Hide and Seek, at Bridge's Peace Jam, at the TN State Capital, for the Memphis City School Board and ArtsMemphis' Autozone Employee giving campaign.

New Ballet offers varied performances that speak to an increasingly diverse world. Both classes and performances are offered in Flamenco, African, Hip Hop and Adult's can sign up for Basic Ballet, even if inexperienced.  Call New Ballet or stop by for more information.
